My Opinion:

OnePlus 8 is a slimmer and lighter device compared to 8 Pro, which makes it easy for single handed functionality. On the other hand 8 Pro has high resolution display, wireless charging and bigger battery.

I would recommend that if price is not a concern then you should definitely go for 8 Pro else 8 isn't a bad buy.
